Buchanan Fellowship

Introduction:  The mission of the Middle Tennessee State University is to provide undergraduate education of exceptional quality to a small but diverse student population having deep commitment to scholarship and to the ideals and virtues engraved on the north façade of the Paul W. Martin Sr. Honors Building: character, creativity, commitment, curiosity, discipline, faith, honor, and integrity, thus the Buchanan Fellowship. 

Buchanan Fellowship

Eligibility: To compete for a Buchanan Fellowship, an applicant must

• apply forundergraduate admission to Middle Tennessee;
• complete and return the Buchanan application form to the Honors College by December 1 of the year prior to fall enrollment;
• have a high school GPA greater than or equal to 3.5;
• have a composite ACT greater than or equal to 29 (SAT greater than or equal to 1280);
• provide an official transcript of all high school work completed.
